All questions concerning mp3 creation, listening, burning, recording, players, etc. can be answered using the faq provided at the following url: http://www.free-mp3-music-player-downloads.com/mp3_faq.html.
Right click on the name of the mp3 you want to save, then select the option to save/download it.
Here are some of the options that you'll get depending on what browser you're using:
IE = "Save Target As..."
Mozilla = "Save Link Target As..."
Opera = "Save target as..."
Safari = "Download Linked File As..."
Firefox = "Save Link to Disk..."
No, all available pieces are listed on each page of the FYR site under the heading 'Artists.'
It's not legal for me to allow you to download other people's music without the expressed permission of the artists' record company, the artist and their management.
The 'Anti-Piracy' section (http://www.riaa.com/issues/piracy/default.asp) of the RIAA can explain the issues surrounding the use of copyrighted materials avaliable for download.
No. It's not legal for me to sell you other people's music without the expressed permission of the artists' record company, the artist and their management.
My intentions for this site are to keep the services free for everyone. That means that I won't take any money to produce the tracks for the site, nor make any money from selling tracks on the site.
Sure! I would be glad to help you find a piece that suits your personality and gymnastic style.
Just email me at with your name, age, level, and your musical preferences. I'll email you back with some suggestions.
Please be aware that I can not provide you with any examples of the pieces that I suggest for you to listen to. It will be up to you to find them and decide whether or not they are what you're looking for. The best way to do so is to visit an online CD/MP3 retailer and search for some sample clips for the piece that I recommended.
If you intend to cut songs and use them as floor music, I recommend Screenblast Acid 4.0 which, for under $70, will give you loop libraries to help you fill in any missing portions of your cuts. You might also want to try the free version of Acid, Acid XPress. This can be downloaded at AcidPlanet I don't know how good it is, but it's free!
Cakewalk is another popular name in home recording. They have a whole lineup of music creation software directed at the average home user (http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/HomeRecording.asp).
The latest and greatest audio creation tool for Mac users is GarageBand. It's basically the same type of program as Acid, with some extra functionality. It's included in all copies of iLife '04 (under $50), or if you buy a new Mac you get it for free!
I've only just started using GarageBand, and am beginning to really enjoy it. Hopefully it'll bring some more downloadable pieces your way soon.
Always take a good look at the software before you buy it. Read some user reviews, listen to tracks created with the product, and look through the descriptions carefully.
